Copper Range Company Payroll, 1944

This compilation is a work in progress with most of the work occurring over the Copper Country Winter of 2021, 2022 and 2023. A total of 22 years worth of annual payroll ledgers have been scanned, assembled and transcribed into a digital form.
These transcriptions are not perfect. Several of the years had to be transcribed by John Blom. There remainder were transcribed using computer software. Errors during the transcription process occur. If you are having difficulty searching for a name you might consider searching for only portions of the name that might have an unusual combination of letters. In most cases only the month of May was transcribed. In some years only the first pay period in May was used. This was dependent on the bookkeeping method in use at the time. Most of these ledgers have sustained significant water and mold damage. Some are
damaged to the point where they can no longer be handled. May was selected because it was located in the center of the ledger and less likely to be damaged. Some years were incomplete. Because of the historical importance of the 1913/1914
ledger all available pages from the years 1913-1914 were include in their own section.-Vince Kanthak
