Interview of Rose Mary Zenti (nee Farmer) (born 1919) regarding her experiences during World War II. She describes her time as an accountant clerk at Pine Camp, her transfer to working for the Red Cross at St. Albans Navy hospital, her day-to-day duties in the hospital, the entertainment available to the patients, the entertainers that she saw, her later work in the Holloran General Army Hospital receiving patients on hospital ships, the differences between the two hospitals, her marriage, her opinions on the atomic bomb and the end of the war, and her life after the war. |
