From left to right the individuals in the photo are Attorney Van Slyck, Judge Cyrus Spellman, Edde Johnson, Town Marshall Billy Cane, Miss Johnson, and Mrs. Edde Johnson. The justice court was held at that time in the rear of what is now (1961) the Gamble Store on River St. There are two fire insurance signs on the walls and a woodstove in the center if the room. |
