Pioneer-Tribune, 2017-11-23

The Pioneer-Tribune is a weekly paper published in Manistique, Michigan that covers news from the central Upper Peninsula. Until 1977, it was known as the Manistique Pioneer-Tribune, which started in 1896 when the Manistique Weekly Pioneer and The Manistique Tribune merged. The Manistique Weekly Pioneer, which started in 1880, had previously been called the Manistique Semi-Weekly Pioneer, the Manistique Tri-Weekly Pioneer, the Tri-Weekly Pioneer, the Semi-Weekly Pioneer, and the Schoolcraft County Pioneer. The Manistique Tribune had previously been called The Weekly Tribune and The Tribune.
