Description / Synopsis
Denise Anderson (born 1924) discusses living in an occupied Belgium during World War II. There are many stories about battles, bombings, sinking tanks, daily life growing up under the scrutiny of soldiers, and other such horrors. She mentions two brothers that were caught and put in concentration camps and speaks of their time there. She also describes meeting her husband, an American soldier, during the war and moving to America herself once Belgium had been liberated. |
