Thompson Churches Collection

About

This collection documents churches in Thompson Township, Schoolcraft County, Michigan. A Swedish Lutheran Church was established around 1895, followed by a Methodist Church and St. Frederick's Catholic Church around 1900. The Catholic Church closed in the 1930s, but its sacristy is still extant and is maintained by the Thompson Township Historical Advisory Committee. It includes photographs, newspaper clippings, deeds, and histories.
