Teenie Weenies scrapbook
About
This collection consists of a single scrapbook that contains copies of the Teenie Weenies comic strip, which ran from 1914 to 1970. It depicted the lives of a village of tiny people that lived in a world of normal-sized objects. The creator of the comic strip was newspaper cartoonist William Donahey (1883-1970). Donahey lived in Grand Marais, Michigan during the summers in the Pickle Barrel House, a house designed to look like the house in the comic strip. The Pickle Barrel House is now a museum operated by the Grand Marais Historical Society.
