Interview of Evelyn Cieslik regarding her experiences as a young teenager during World War II. She discusses her reactions to the start of the war and the bombing of Pearl Harbor, her work in a battery factory at age 16, the effect of the war in the States, rationing and recycling efforts, the social effect of the war on high school, and her correspondence with her boyfriend overseas.
