Description / Synopsis
These steel frames are the structural members to each of the two cable anchor piers. Each of the three frames is 106 tons with dimensions of 135' h, 35' w, and 75' w. When assembled they rested in 90 feet of water. These units were placed on barges and towed to the site where they were placed by cranes as surveyors guided them by radio from the survey towers. |
