Source: The Mining Journal Marquette, Mi. August 25, 1888 Saturday The railroads are fast catching up with the mines as agents for reducing the population. On Thursday morning Mils Anderson was caught on the South Shore track by an engine as stated in yesterday's paper. He is at the hospital now, and though very weak, had good courage and may yet recover.
