Description / Synopsis
The first section of the south cable bent pier was fabricated in Toledo, OH and towed to the site where it was placed within a corral and sunk to bedrock like the other piers. The round objects are tubes (digging wells) used by clamshell bucket and crane to remove overburden from within the cofferdam without damaging the frame. |
