Description / Synopsis
A vehicle with tracks hauls a flatcar of logs. Assuming this is a very early Caterpillar tractor (the Caterpillar logo is on the front side), this photo couldn't have been taken before 1925. The tractor in question is a "crawler" with a closed cab. Since the Caterpillar company's logo changed in 1931, the machine couldn't have been produced after that year.

This photograph came out of a box of negatives with the accession number 2023.1.184. Most of the photographs seem to have been taking at a logging camp somewhere in northern Michigan or Wisconsin. Other photographs depict farms, railroads, and tourist attractions in Wisconsin.
