Thomas Kettler was a student at Northern Michigan University from 2018-2022. He was a history and political science major, and he served as the vice president of the student government, the Associated Students of Northern Michigan University (ASNMU). In this interview, Kettler discusses his thoughts on the Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University. Topics include Reacting to the Past (RTTP) classes in the history department and memories of living in American Graffiti house in Van Antwerp Hall. He describes the work of ASNMU, including the Graduation Closet and the Period Project, and attempts at statewide student government conferences.
