Ronald Kulie (born 1945) discusses his family, his childhood and education in Champion, recreation, childhood diseases and medical care, his memories of Dr. Paul Van Riper, polio, tuberculosis, school fundraisers, an inspirational teacher that made him go into education, living conditions, holidays, basketball and other extracurricular activities, advice for students, and his career as a teacher in Champion, a principal in Kingsford, and superintendant of the NICE school district.
