This accession is an artificial collection that brings together records documenting Northern's efforts to provide professional training services to public school teachers in the Upper Peninsula. Records include, but are not limited to, correspondence, conference program development, information on speakers, conference programs, and budget information. Only one item from this collection has been digitized: a set of speeches from a 1941 assembly in which students discussed their opinions about World War II.
