Ken Fowler discusses “Old Times in Algonquian,” a neighborhood west of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. After quitting school, Ken got a job for a local store tending and driving horses. He later took a job inside, and eventually opened up his own store. He discusses the meat business and being Post Master in Algonquin for forty years, along with reminiscing with the interviewer about the area. |
