Menominee County Library Bookmobile Scrapbook

The Menominee County Library's bookmobile program began in the 1940s and is still running today. The program brings books to rural communities in the county without a library branch. This scrapbook documents the history of the bookmobile program. It includes photographs, newspaper clippings, advertisements, correspondence, programs, and press releases. This collection was scanned at the community digitization event held in Stephenson in August 2022. The event was sponsored by the Menominee County Library and funded by the Michigan Humanities Council.
