Quinten "Lotus" Dickey (1911-1989) was a folk musician from Paoli, Orange County, Indiana who played fiddle and guitar and wrote hundreds of songs. A documentary called Water from Another Time was made about his life. An annual music festival honoring him called "Lotus in the Park" began in 1994 in Bloomington, Indiana and continues to the present. On this recording, he is accompanied by Jack Bowers of Marquette. |
