Margaret Johnson Lutz Collection
About
This collection documents the Johnson family of Stephenson, Michigan. Aaron Johnson was born in Sweden and moved to Wallace, Michigan where he owned a farm and sawmill. His wife Inga Lundberg Soloman Johnson was born in Norway. It includes several photographs, a history of the Stephenson Methodist Episcopal Church, and a booklet from the dedication of Stephenson High School. This collection was donated to UPLINK by Margaret Johnson Lutz at the community digitization event held in Stephenson in August 2022. The event was sponsored by the Menominee County Library and funded by the Michigan Humanities Council.
