This scrapbook contains maps, newspaper clippings, brochures, event posters and programs, meeting minutes, newsletters, press releases, and photographs related to Grand Marais, Michigan. Many of the documents are related to the activities of the Grand Marais Chamber of Commerce, who created the scrapbook, but others are general promotional materials about Grand Marais. The scrapbook also documents the efforts to save the Grand Marais harbor and issues with hiking trails and access to Pictured Rocks. It dates from approximately 1960 to 1989.
