Description / Synopsis
Postcard showing town of Nadeau in early 1900s. Postcard sent by Hubert Perras to Minnie Gamache when they were courting. It shows the village of Nadeau in the early 1900s before a fire destroyed much of the town. Because it was pasted into a scrap book, the message in French is difficult to decipher. In it, Hubert says he returned home “all right” and he thinks of the dance in Stephenson, “she whom I have dreamed of” and “always in the garden.” They were married in June 1908. |
