A trail of footsteps in the snow lead down a hill towards a fence and some distant farmhouses. One of the houses has smoke coming from a chimney. Two bare trees stand in the foreground. Based on the envelope title, it is on or near Iron River Road. This photograph came out of envelope 34: Iron River Road, 15 February 1942.
