Source: The Daily Mining Journal, Marquette, MI Feb. 5, 1891 Saturday Feb. 7 - Thus far this winter, the South Shore has had no occasion to use its mammoth snow plow, much to the disgust of numerous persons who have been waiting ever since the company purchased it for a blockade that would put its capacity to the test. It is rather singular that we have had a succession of moderate winters since the Company procured the drift demolisher, while for several years previously it would have found plenty of work to do. |
