April 23, 1892 Saturday To Be Extended The Ironwood Times has the following in its last issue in reference to the extension of the DSS and A to that city. The Times has learned from very reliable authority, the very cheering news that the DSS and A will extend its range branch into our city at once and that the rails and the ties for the work are expected here almost every day. The grade is fully completed up nearly to Silver st., on the flats. This connot fial to bring a large amount of custom and busness to our city and its opens the immense timber resources of the ;main line of the DSS and A to the mill our city has and those that are sure to be erected here in the future. It will also prove a source of supply for hte immense amount of mining timber required here yearly. The completion of the branch has long been looked for by our citizens and the mystery has been why it has not been built long ago.
