Mining journal (Marquette, Mich.) Source: The Mining Journal Marquette, Mi. September 26, 1891 The Iron Range and Huron Bay Mr. Sanford Keeler, superintendent of the Flint and Pere Marquette RR., has accepted the position of superintendent of construction of the IR and HB RR., or the "Turner road" as it is commonly known on the peninsula. The Sunday Times of this city announced that Mr. Keeler was succeed Mr. Fitch as general manager of the South Shore and in its guess work got badly left. Mr. C. H. buhl, of Detroit, who is largely interested in the construction of the new road, is the Mining Journal's authority in the announcement of Mr. Keeler's appointment.
