Sedgwick's departure from the city is drawing near his many friends here are desirous of obtaining some memento to remind them of his genial self and it occurs to Pencilings to suggest that he at once sit for his picture and have enough struck off to go around. Any acquaintance of his nose what a bright, cheery glow would pervade all on gazing at such a semblance of Mr. Sedgwick's face in all the after years. The subject is ripe for action and it is to be hoped that E. V. will pick-out a photographer at once. If in Mexico Mr. Sedgwick shall make the desert blossom like the nose (confound these typographical errors!) - but perhaps that boil is a painful subject and Pencilings will desist.
