November 3, 1888 Saturday The railroad authorities terminated the night operator's occupation at this station the end of last week and Mr. Hazen was hurried-off to South Ishpeming as relief operator. He is at home again today, in readiness for another order. Mr. Hazen is an agreeable fellow and we regret to lose him from our town, but it is evident that hsi [*his] employers will use him elsewhere, during the winter, at least.
