September 21, 1889 Saturday Work Commenced The most of the materials for the construction of the saw mill at Dead River is on the ground and Wednesday the workmen commenced to prepare the site for the foundations. Two of Mr. Hawley's mill-wrights arrived from Clevel and Wednesday. Mr. W. B. Boeh is new engaged upon his map and estimates of the railroad line he surveyed. The route having not yet been determined upon there is nothing definite for the public in that quarter. R. H. Hawley and Co. DSS and A Ry. Dead River RR. |
