September 14, 1889 Detroit Exposition Rates The DSS and A, with its customary enterprise, has made a fare to the Detroit exposition which should act as a great inducement to visitors. The rates made are one fare for the round trip and the figures are given below. The first figures in each pair are the rates via the MC and the GR and I. The second figures are the rates via the steamers of the D and C Steam Navigation Co. Of course, it must be remembered that the steamer rates are for transportation lnly. Meals and berths are charged for extra. St. Ignace, $9.70 - $2.50; Sault Ste. Marie $12.55 - $5.35; Newberry, $11.00 - $4.70; Dollarville, $12.00 - $4.80; Seney, $12.75 - $5.55; Munising, $14.05 - $.685; Au Train, $14.55 - $7.35; Marquette, $15.75 - $8.55; Eagle Mills, $16.05 - $8.85; Negaunee, $16.25 - $9.05; Ishpeming, $16.35 - $9.15; Humboldt, $16.80 - $9.60; Republic, $17.15 - $9.95; Champion, $17.00 - $9.80; Michigamme, $17.25 - $10.05; Nestoria $17.60 - $10.40; L'Anse, $18.25 - $11.05; Baraga, $18.45 - $11.25; Houghton, $19.55 - $12.30.
