September 7, 1889 Saturday Accident to a Railroad Man Last Wednesday, Mr. William Earl, foreman of the section h and s in Marquette city yards of the DSS and A received quite painful injuries. He was engaged with his crew of men in laying a rail, when a passenger locomotive struck him in such a way as to inflict severe scalp wounds. The company's surgeion dressed the wounds and Mr. Earl will be able to be out in a few days. |
