Source: The Mining Journal Marquette, Mi. August 10, 1889 Saturday "G. A. R. Encampment at Milwaukee." The M and N will sell excursion tickets to Milwaukee and return from August 21 to 28, inclusive, for one fare for round trip, good to return anytime between August 28 and September 5, and by special arrangements tickets may be extended to September 20 upon application prior to September 5 to joint agent at Milwaukee. The M and N will have a morning train leaving Champion late enough to connect with the morning train of the DSS and A leaving Marquette 7:25; Negaunee 7:57 and Ishpmeing 8:05, arriving at Milwaukee 7:00 p. m. This is in addition to the afternoon train leaving Champion at 4:45. Arrangements will be made for through cars from the above named points, and any desired information may be had upon application to W. B. Sheardown, General Traffic Agent, Milwaukee or E. P.
