July 28, 1888 Saturday It seems that the CPR's action in securing controlling interest in the DSS and A excites attention and something more in London. A dispatch from that city has this concerning it: The CPR'S action as regards the DSS and A is still the talk in the city circles. The St and ard today says the GT holders are everything but encouraged by the way those responsible for the policy of the company have allowed the CPR to work around them, and adds that unless things mend an agitation will presently arise to change the management. President Tyler's approaching visit to Canada is understood to be in connection with matters of this sort. DSS and A Sam Beck |
