July 17, 1888 Tuesday Editorial The Boston Transcript says that on the heels of the reported transfer to the CPR of a controlling interest in the DSS and A comes a rumor that the M and N may be united to this great C and NW system, or at least that a close traffic arrangement will be entered into by which the CPR will obtain access to Milwaukee.
