Spicer of the Gr and Trunk to Become General Manager of The DSS and A Railroad James McMillan, president of the DSS and A, offered Mr. Spicer the general management of that line. The offer was taken under consideration and finally accepted on Tuesday last, when Mr. McMillan and Mr. Spicer left for New York to consult with the other officers and directors of the line regarding improvements and extensions under construction and contemplated. Mr. Spicer will retire from the general management of the Chicago and Gr and Trunk and Detroit, Gr and Haven and Milwaukee, December 31, and the day following enter upon the discharge of duties of his new position. |
