Abstract/Description: | Bill Morrissey (1951-2011) was a New England songwriter and “one of most respected performers in the country” according to the host of In the Pines. Born in Connecticut, he spent most of his life in New Hampshire. He performed regularly at the Newport Folk Festival and received two Grammy nominations for his 12 albums. He died of a heart attack in 2011 while on tour. This performance is a 1987 concert at Jamrich Auditorium at Northern Michigan University. |
