April 30, 1887 Saturday Through Connections Daily Through Mr. E. W. Allen, general passenger agent of the DSS and A the Mining Journal learns that the MC has determined to put on through trains to connect with the through trains on the DSS and A at Mackinaw, the new arrangement to go into effect with the new time card, which will be issued very shortly now. Heretofore, no Sunday trains nave been run on the Mackinaw division of the MC, hence there was no through connection east with the Saturday train of the upper peninsula road or west on Monday. The new arrangements will prove of great convenience to the traveling public generally. There will then be through train service from Detroit to Houghton every day of the year. DSS and A Passenger |
