Source: The Mining Journal September 10,1887 Saturday All Rail Excursions The DSS and A announces all rail excursion rates from all points on its line to the state fair at Jackson, September 19 to 23 inc., and to all other prominent points in lower Mi. The fare charged will be one rate for the round trip, tickets on sale September 17 to 20, inc., good for return passage not later than September 25. This will make the rate from Marquette and return, to lower Mi., points as follows: Jackson, $15.25; Detroit, $15.25; Gr and Rapids, $13.35; Ionia, $13.45; Lansing, $14.15; Kalamazoo, $14.80. The rates from Houghton to the above points will $3.50 more than from Marquette. |
