Indenture, made June 13, 1887 through the SW1/4 of NW1/4, N1/2 of NW1/4, NE1/4 of NE1/4, Section 5, T 47, R35, also E1/2 of SE1/4, Section 33, T48, R35; SE1/4 of NE1/4, Section 33, T48, R35, also N1/2 of NW1/4, NW1/4 of NE1/4, Section 35, T48, R35, to quit claim a strip of l and 100 feet in width, except where the slope of the embarkment to excavations should require a greater width across certain l and s in Baraga and Houghton counties, upon condition that the DSS and A should within two years from the date of this instrument construct and operate a line of railroad along said strip of l and , reserving to the ML and I Co., all mineral and timber rights, for the sum of $1.
