February 5, 1887 A special consisting of engine No. 2 and a coach passed over a portion of hte MH and O (DSS and A) Wednesday. The coach contained W.A. Thompson, assistant superintendent, David Sutton, acting master builder, C.H.V. Cavis, civil engineer, who were making a thorough examination of the bridges and culverts along hte line and noting their condition. Mr. Sutton succeeds Mr. Joslin as master car builder (Monday), and is thus making himself familiar with the work along the road pertaining to his department. |
