Source: The Alger County Republican March 7, 1891 Rock River, Alger County, Mi. Saturday Section Foreman Swanson has a crew of two men and he is ex- plected to keep the side tracks at Au Train, West Au Train, Wards and this place clear of snow. We all know that Mr. Swan- son is an excellent "push" and has two able and willing helpers, but the wind has the advantage of them, as it can work four places at once, so the snow gets the best of them this stormy weather. |
