Source: The Newberry News, Newberry, Mi., August 19, 1886, Thursday On Thursday evening last, at about six o'clock, while attempting to board an ore train at Seney, Joseph Aspin slipped and fell under the wheels of the cars, taking [off] his right leg and arm and otherwise mutilating his body. Death was instantaneous. The deceased was 28 years of age and a shoemaker by trade. He had been at Seney but a short time and leaves a family at Midl and City. |
