Log train going down the L'Anse hill

Transcription of newspaper article from the Northwestern lumberman (Chicago, Ill.), Jan. 23, 1892, regarding the Duluth, South Shore, and Atlantic Railway company., Northwestern lumberman (Chicago, Ill.), Source:  NORTHWESTERN LUMBERMAN January 23, 1892 p. 6-164  A log tain going down the L'Anse hill on the DSS and A ran away January 12 and collied with a freight train, both trains and a bridge being demolished.  The men escaped by jumping.  The loss was $50,000.  DSS and A Ry.
