Alger County Republican (Rock River, Mich.) Source: The Alger County Republican Rock River, Wi. Saturday, June 27, 1891 An eastbound train on the South Shore ran against a homesteader near Nestoria on Monday and hurled him into the ditch. The man had been riding a curious railway tricycle of his own construction and had fallen asleep. He was not much hurt. The remains of the novel machine were taken to Marquette for inspection of the railway officers. |
