January 12, 1889 Ishpeming - Cyrus Mason - who, it will be remembered, was for a number of years a conductor on the C and NW railroad and who is well known to nearly all Ishpeming people - is on the upper peninsula again having spent a few months in California. The reporter learns that Nr. Mason will be given charge of the distribution of cars to the mines here and at Negaunee by the DSS and A.
