Source: The Daily Mining Journal, Marquette, MI Friday, January 4, 1889 At the meeting last Tuesday, the state board of railroad crossings approved maps of two branches of the South Shore, the Ironwood and Bessemer Ry., Ontonagon and Gogebic counties and the Negaunee and Palmer Ry., Marquette county. On the 8th the board will come to the upper peninsula to settle several important railroad disagreements. DSS and A Ironwood and Bessemer Ry. Negaunee and Palmer Ry.
