Latcha, the chief engineer and superintendent of construction of the DSS and A has completed his duties here as the representative of the famous Browe-Howard syndicate and is now closing up his office affairs. He will leave Marquette by the end of next week in all probability, and expects to pass some time on the Pacific slope, accompanied by Mrs. Latacha. Messers Mitchell and Hurlburt will also leave next week. Marquette people will greatly miss all three gentlemen and their charming wives, for during their two years residence here they have been very prominent socially and hav emade many warm firends. |
