Another railroad rumor

May 19, 1888 Saturday  Another Railroad Rumor  The CPR officials have left Minneapolis and are now making a tour of inspection over the DSS and A in company with President McMillan, vice president Bine and other officials of the road. In Marquette it is thought the CPR are not content with their traffic arrangement with the Soo line. They want more feeders, and it is intimated that they now desire a proprietary interest in the South Shore, and in this way officially bottle up the Gr and  Trunk. The latter road would be in a pretty pickle if after reaching the Soo it found the two western roads under the control of its big rival.   DSS and A MStP and SSM AADurocher
