The DSS and A Ry. 1888 Edward Harris, commenced firing on switch engine at Harquette February 15, 1888. Commenced firing on mail line, May 8, 1888. David Todd, was hired as fireman, 1888. Commenced working in shop, April 20, 1888, and commenced firing on main line May 6, 1888. Former experience on GTR from November 1, 1888 [*1887], to March 30, 1888, as machinist assistant; did some spare firing in 1888. George Gibson, was hired as fireman, 1888, Commenced firing on main line, May 4, 1888. Was made tank man at Seney, account slack times, November 20, 1888. Was on North British Ry., from September 1, 1880, to March 30, 1888; wiped five years of that time. James E. Hill, was hired as fireman, commenced in shop May 11. Commenced firing on main line, May 16, 1888. Frank Burrows was hired as fireman. (No experience). Commenced working in shop May 10, 1888 and commenced firing switch engine May 22, 1888. Was laid off account slack times on August 31, 1888. James E. Wilson, was hired as wiper. Commenced working in shop March 26, 1888. Commenced firing switch engine at St. Ignace May 14, 1888, and was laid off account slack times August 31, 1888. |
