October 20, 1887 Thursday After all the grumbling which the Ontonagon and Brule River railroad has caused the people of Ontonagon, it is likely to be their first railroad. The Milwaukee and Northern which controls the O and BR franchise purposes to build it south from Ontonagon to the DSS and A as soon as the latter line is finished to a convenient point. The two roads will make a complete outline for Ontonagon. |
