MH and O management of roads

To force them to that step would be to destroy the value of the railroad company's own property and the management is altogether too intelligent and shrewd to do that. It is represented locally by a general manager, Mr. John Hornby, who underst and  the situation perfectly, and we feel assured that any proposition to burden mines with excessive freight charges on their freight traffic would encounter determined opposition.
